What is Sedisleep?    

Sedisleep 56 Tablets is a herbal medicine indicated for the relief of mild nervous tension and sleep disorders in adults and adolescents over 12 years of age.

What is Sedisleep 56 tablets used for? 

Sedisleep is indicated to relieve nervous tension and sleep disorders in adults and adolescents 12 years of age and older.

How to take Sedisleep?    

Follow the instructions in the package leaflet or those given by your pharmacist. If you have any questions, ask your doctor or pharmacist.

Dosage 

The recommended dose for adults, seniors, and adolescents 12 years and older is:

• For the relief of mild nervous tension, 1 tablet up to 3 times a day.
• For the relief of sleep disorders, take 1 tablet half an hour to one hour before bedtime; if necessary, take an earlier dose in the afternoon.

Do not take more than 4 tablets per day.

Form of Administration 

The tablets should be swallowed whole with a little water. They should not be chewed.

Driving and using machines

Sedisleep is a medicine that can cause drowsiness. Do not drive or operate machinery if you feel drowsy, or if you notice that your attention and ability to react are reduced.

Composition of Sedisleep in one tablet

• Active ingredient: Dry extract of valerian root. Each film-coated tablet contains 500 mg of dry extract of Valeriana officinalis L., radix (equivalent to 2 g–3 g of valerian root). Extraction solvent: 60% (V/V) ethanol.
• Other ingredients: Tablet core: microcrystalline cellulose, anhydrous calcium hydrogen phosphate, pregelatinized starch, colloidal anhydrous silica, magnesium stearate. Film-coat: polyvinyl alcohol, titanium dioxide (E171), macrogol, talc, indigo carmine aluminium lake (E132), red iron oxide (E172), black iron oxide (E172).

Light blue, oblong, biconvex, film-coated tablets, 18 x 7 mm. PVC/PE/PVDC/aluminium blisters in packs of 28 or 56 tablets.
