What is Arkopharma Hawthorn?

Arkopharma Hawthorn 84 capsules is a traditional herbal medicine containing Hawthorn as an active ingredient to relieve nervousness, which can occur with exaggerated perception of heartbeats (palpitations) and difficulty sleeping.

What is Arkopharma Hawthorn used for?

Arkopharma Espino Albar is indicated for adults over 18 years of age to relieve nervousness and, where appropriate, difficulty sleeping.

How to take Arkopharma Hawthorn?

Follow the instructions in the package leaflet or those given by your pharmacist. If you have any questions, ask your doctor or pharmacist.

Dosage 

• The recommended dose for adults over 18 years of age is:
  • Nervousness : Take 1 capsule with breakfast, lunch and dinner with a glass of water.
  • Difficulty sleeping : Take 2 capsules mid-afternoon and another 2 capsules before bedtime with a glass of water.

Form of Administration 

This medication is administered orally. The recommended treatment is 4 weeks, but if you notice that your symptoms do not improve or worsen after 2 weeks, or if leg edema occurs, consult your pharmacist or doctor.

Do not take this medicine

• If you are allergic to the active ingredients or any of the other ingredients of this medicine.

Composition of Arkopharma Hawthorn in a capsule

• Active ingredient: 350 mg of cryoground flowering tops of Crataegus monogyna Jacq. (Lindm.) and C. laevigata (Poiret) DC (C. oxyacanthoides Thuill.) (Hawthorn).
• Excipients: Hypromellose, capsule shell.
