What is Adderall?
Addell is used to treat attention deficit disorder with hyperactivity (ADHD) and narcolepsy. Adderall contains a combination of amphetamine and dextroanfetamine. Amphetamine and dextroanfetamine are stimulating of the central nervous system that affect the chemical substances of the brain and nerves that contribute to hyperactivity and control of impulses.
How should Adderall take?
Take Adderall exactly as prescribed by your doctor. Follow all the instructions on your recipe label. Your doctor can occasionally change your dose. Do not take this medicine in older or minor amounts or for longer than recommended.
Adderall can create dependence. Never share this medicine with another person, especially with someone with a history of abuse or drug addiction. Keep the medicine in a place where other people cannot access it. Selling or giving this medicine is illegal.
What happens if I forget a dose?
Take the forgotten dose as soon as you remember, but not at the end of the day. Omits the forgotten dose if it is almost night. Do not take additional medication to compensate for the forgotten dose.
What happens if I have an overdose?
Look for emergency medical attention or call the Poison Help line at 1-800-222-1222. An overdose of Adderall could be fatal.
The symptoms of an overdose can include restlessness, tremors, muscle spasms, fast breathing, confusion, hallucinations, panic, aggressiveness, pain or muscle weakness and dark color urine. These symptoms can be followed by depression and tiredness. Other symptoms of overdose include nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, stomach pain, irregular heartbeat, feeling of dizziness, fainting, seizures or coma.
